The Ultimate Gifts for Horror Movie Fans: Become the Hero of Your Favorite Scary Movie!
They've watched every horror movie. Let's make it personal. We build a custom video game and turn them into the hero of a real horror video game: their face, their house, their friends and the scariest villains.
From $99 · You choose how scary · Gore optional, never sexual
What do you get a horror fan who has everything? Something they can't buy off a shelf: a horror video game where they're the main character. Muksun Games makes personalized video games from your photos. Our artists draw the people you choose in hand-drawn 2D, and our developers build three levels with dialog, music and a final boss, set in a haunted castle, a town overrun by zombies, a cabin deep in the woods or your own street after dark.
A Classic game is $99 with up to five heroes, ready in 4–7 days after you send the photos, and it plays on Windows, Android and iPhone/iPad.
Every horror fan has a favourite way to die
Choose the kind of scary they love. If your horror fanatic loves all of it, we'll mix them.
Haunted House
Creaking stairs, portraits whose eyes follow them, and a count at the top of the tower who's been expecting them.
The zombie apocalypse
Their town, overrun. One shotgun, one crowbar, and the friend who always gets bitten first.
The cabin in the woods
The old man at the gas station warned them. They went anyway. Now something is walking outside the window.
Something from out there
Lights over the cornfield, a signal on the radio, and a crew that isn't coming home. Cosmic horror for the sci-fi fan.
Horror games we've already made
Why it beats the usual horror movie gifts
A horror movie buff's shelf is already full of figures, posters and box sets. This is the one gift that can't already be on it.
| Gift | Figure | Poster | Box set | A horror game about them |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| About them specifically | No | No | No | Their face, their house, their friends |
| Already owned by a horror fan | Probably | Definitely | Seen it twice | Impossible |
| Actually scary | No | No | Sometimes | You set the level |
| Something to do together | No | No | One night | Play it, replay it, show everyone |
You set the fear level in the brief
Same game, same price. Pick family-friendly, a bit cheeky or no limits, and we tune the mood, the monsters and how much blood hits the floor.
| In the game | Family-friendly | A bit cheeky | No limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| The mood | Spooky-fun, think pumpkins and bats | Jump scares and dark corridors | Full nightmare |
| Blood & gore | None | Cartoon splats | Left in |
| An enemy's line | “Boo! Gotcha.” | “You shouldn't have come down here.” | “It can hear you breathing.” |
| Who it's for | Kids, families, the easily spooked | Most horror fans | The ones who laugh during the gory bits |
Every line is written for your people.
Who survives? You decide.
Up to five main heroes, plus side characters and enemies. Anyone you have a photo of can be in it, as a hero or as something worse.
The final survivor
The horror fan, drawn from one clear photo. The one who makes it to the end, maybe.
The friend who splits up the group
Every horror story needs one. Make it the person who always says “I'll check the basement.”
The horde
Coworkers, in-laws, the whole group chat. Everyone you have a photo of can come back from the dead.
The thing at the end
A monster of your choosing, or someone they know, wearing a very convincing mask.
Pick where the nightmare happens
Every level is built in the world you choose. Nothing is scarier than a monster on your own street.

What people ask before ordering a horror game
What do you get a horror fan who has everything?
Something that can't already be on their shelf. Horror fans collect figures, posters and box sets, so a personalized horror video game where they're the main character is one of the few gifts they've never seen. Their face, their friends and their hometown, turned into three levels of horror.
Is there such a thing as a personalized horror gift?
Yes, and this is it. We draw the person from their photos in hand-drawn 2D, write the story around them, and build a real, playable horror game: haunted castle, zombie outbreak, cabin in the woods, or the world you pick.
How scary is it? Can it be gore-free?
You choose in the brief. Family-friendly keeps it spooky-fun with no blood, a bit cheeky adds jump scares and cartoon splats, and no limits leaves the gore in. Sexual content never appears at any setting.
Can I make a horror game about my friend or partner?
That's exactly what we do. Couples who watch horror together, a friend's birthday, a group where everyone turns into zombies. Up to five main heroes, plus side characters and enemies.
Can you use characters from horror movies?
We don't copy characters from existing films or games. We design original monsters instead, and we're happy to give one a familiar feel: the masked stranger, the count in the tower, the thing in the woods.
Is it a good gift for horror movie fans who don't play games?
Yes. You don't need to be a gamer: the controls are simple and a game takes about 20–40 minutes to play through. The fun is seeing themselves in it.
How much does it cost and how long does it take?
A Classic game is $99 with up to five heroes. It's ready 4–7 days after your brief and photos are in, and you can add Rush at checkout. A game built entirely from scratch starts at $499.
Which devices does it play on?
Windows, Android and iPhone/iPad. Games with gore left in may have limits on iPhone because of App Store age ratings. If they play on an iPhone, say so in the brief and we'll confirm before we start.
Can I order it for Halloween?
Yes. Order by October 24 for standard delivery, or by October 29 with Rush. Missed it? The printable certificate is ready the moment you order, so there's always something to hand over on the night.
