A sentimental gift for him: his life as a video game
This unique gift is about him. We turn his photos, his places and his story into a real, playable video game. Below is one we actually made.
From $99 · Plays on Windows, Android, iPhone / iPad · One free round of tweaks
His life, level by level.
She wanted to give her fiancé something no shop sells: his own story as a playable game. So the game starts where he started — in Lacoste, a hilltop village in Provence, running past lavender fields and old stone houses with blue shutters — and follows him to Morocco, the other place that shaped him.
Every level is drawn from what she sent us: his photos, the places that matter to him, the music and the small jokes only the two of them get. The character on screen has his face, drawn from a real photo. For this public example we changed the names and swapped the images, but the game she gave him is exactly this personal.

Other video games as sentimental gifts
A look inside.
Looking for a sentimental gift for him — the man who says he doesn't need anything? Muksun Games makes a gift that is literally about him: a personalized video game where he's the hero, drawn from his photos by our artists in hand-drawn 2D art, with his hometown, his people and your shared story built into three playable levels with dialog and music. It costs $99, it's ready in 4–7 days, and it plays on Windows, Android and iPhone / iPad. It works as a sentimental birthday gift, an anniversary gift or the Christmas present he'll still be showing people in March — and it comes with a printable certificate to hand over on the day.
What makes it the sentimental one
Sentimental means it could only be his. These are the parts we build from what you send.
His face
The hero is drawn from one clear photo of him — not an avatar, him.
His places
The street he grew up on, the town where you met, the trip he still talks about — as playable levels.
His people
You, the kids, the dog, the best friend — up to five heroes plus side characters.
Your story
The dialog is written from your memories and inside jokes. Expect him to go quiet at level two.
Why it beats the usual sentimental gifts
A photo book shows him the past. A game about his life lets him play it.
| Feature | Photo book | Engraved watch | Video montage | A game about his life |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Made from his photos | Yes | No | Yes | Yes — drawn into the game by hand |
| He's in it | In pictures | His initials | In clips | He's the playable hero |
| Tells your story | Captions | One date | A soundtrack | Dialog, levels and a final boss |
| What he does with it | Looks once | Wears it | Watches once | Plays it, replays it, shows everyone |

“My friend received this game for his birthday: super idea! We had a lot of fun watching him testing the game. The story is fun and the characters too!”

What people ask before giving one
What makes this a sentimental gift rather than a gadget?
It's made from your memories, not from a catalog. His face, drawn from a real photo; his hometown as the first level; your people as the characters; your story in the dialog. Like Noah's game above — no one else could receive it.
How much does it cost?
Classic is $99: up to five main heroes, three levels in one of our worlds, dialog, music, a final boss, the printable certificate and one free round of tweaks. A game built from scratch, with a world designed only for him, starts at $499.
How long does it take?
4–7 days from the moment your photos and story are in. Rush brings it down when the date is close, and the certificate is ready the moment you order, so there's always something to give on the day.
What do I need to send?
One clear photo per person, a few lines about the places that matter, and the memories or inside jokes you want in there. The form takes about ten minutes, and we'll tell you honestly if a photo won't work.
He's not a gamer. Will he still love it?
The men who cry at these are rarely the gamers. The levels are short and simple — 20–40 minutes in total — and the point is seeing his own life on screen. No gaming skills needed, and it's better played with you next to him anyway.
Does it work as a sentimental birthday or anniversary gift?
Both — birthdays and anniversaries are our two most common occasions. For an anniversary we can make both of you the heroes; see the anniversary game page. For a milestone birthday, the age goes on the loading screen and the trophy.
What devices does it play on?
Windows, Android and iPhone / iPad, through a private link — no console needed.
Can I see a finished one before I order?
Yes — Noah's story is on this page, and you can play our sample games before you spend anything.
