Muksun Games makes personalized video games — real, playable games about one specific person, made to be given as gifts. You send a few photos and the story behind them; our artists draw the characters from the photos in hand-drawn 2D art, and our developers build the levels, dialog, enemies and final boss around their life. You get a private link to play.

Classic: 4–7 days from the moment your brief and photos are in. Add Rush at checkout when the date is close.

Game from scratch: longer, because every world, character and mechanic is made only for you. We confirm the date with you after reading your brief.

Either way, a printable certificate is ready the moment you order, so there is something to hand over even if the game is still being built.

A real game. You run, jump, collect things, talk to characters and fight a final boss across three levels — about 20–40 minutes in total. The levels are short and simple on purpose, so someone who never plays games can finish it. The fun is seeing themselves and their story on screen.

On the order page, pick the edition (Classic or Game from scratch), how many main heroes will be in the game, and Standard or Rush delivery. Check out as usual.

Your confirmation email contains a link to the brief — the short form where you tell us about the heroes, the world and the jokes. Nothing starts until the brief is in, so fill it in as soon as you can.

Open the link from your confirmation email (or go to the brief page), enter your order number and the email you ordered with, and the form takes you through five short steps:

1. The basics. What the game is called, which world it is set in (Classic) or a description of the world you want (from scratch), what device they will play it on, and how rude we are allowed to be: family-friendly, a bit cheeky or no limits.
2. Heroes. The characters you play as — one to five of them. For each: a name, something they always say, and one clear photo.
3. Friends. Optional. Up to two companions who follow the hero everywhere (a best friend, the dog) and up to three side characters who stand in one place and say their line when you walk past.
4. Enemies. Also optional — leave it empty and we use the world's own enemies. Up to three regular enemies plus one final boss, each with a name, a taunt and a photo. Friends, family and pets all make excellent villains.
5. Last bits. What players collect (coins, stars, cookies, or your own idea), one rare item worth hunting for, background music, anything else we should know, and any extra photos — the house, the trophy, the dog.

At the end you confirm you own the photos (or have permission from the people in them) and tell us if the game is for someone under 18, so we keep it clean. Then press Send it to the studio.

One clear photo per person, facing the camera, in natural light: no sunglasses, no heavy filters, no group shots where we have to guess who is who. Resolution matters less than a clear view of the face — a good phone photo is perfect.

We do not generate characters with AI. Our artists draw each one from the photo you send, so the better the photo, the better the likeness.

Anyone you have a photo of. Classic includes up to five main heroes, plus up to two companions, three side characters, three enemies and one final boss. Partner, kids, friends, the dog, the ex-boss — your call.

Yes. While the game is in production you can make minor adjustments — swap a photo, add or remove a character. Just contact us; changes may extend the delivery date a little.

Once the game is ready you get one free round of minor revisions (a typo, a swapped image), usually done within 3 business days. Larger changes after delivery may carry a small customization fee.

In your confirmation email, next to the # sign. The brief asks for it together with the email you ordered with.

Classic ($99) puts your heroes, your story and your jokes into one of our worlds — your hometown, a haunted house, a zombie apocalypse, outer space and more. Three levels, dialog, music, collectibles and a final boss.

Game from scratch (from $499) is a world, art and mechanics designed only for you — like Alice: The K-pop Slayer. It takes longer and costs more because every asset is drawn and built from zero.

Our games are single-player first. We are exploring couch co-op versions — ask us if that is what you need.

Both. In the brief you choose the tone — family-friendly, a bit cheeky or no limits — and that sets the language in the dialog and the taunts. If the game is for someone under 18, tick the box and we keep it clean.

Three levels in the world you picked, your heroes drawn from their photos, side characters and enemies with their own lines, collectibles, a final boss, music, and a title screen with the name you chose. It plays for about 20–40 minutes and you can replay it forever.

Windows, Android and iPhone / iPad. In the brief you tell us which device the person will actually use, and we deliver for that one. If you need another platform later, contact us.

1. Receive the game. When it is ready we email you a link to your game file (it ends in .apk).
2. Download it. Tap the link; the file lands in your Downloads folder.
3. Open the file. Tap the download notification, or find the file in Files › Downloads.
4. Allow the install. If Android says the phone is not allowed to install unknown apps, tap Settings on that pop-up and switch on Allow from this source.
5. Install, then tap Open to play.

1. Receive the game. When it is ready we email you a link to a .zip archive.
2. Download and extract it. Right-click the .zip and choose Extract All…
3. Move the folder anywhere convenient — the Desktop or a Games folder.
4. Open the folder and double-click the .exe with the game's icon. That is it — no installer.

If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning the first time, click More info › Run anyway; the game is not signed with a publisher certificate, which is what triggers it.

iPhone and iPad play through the Muksun Games app. When your game is ready we email you the install steps and your login. Open the app, sign in, go to My Library, install your game and play it from Downloaded.

Menu: tap the avatar / character icon.

Move: the left and right arrows.

Jump: the jump button — press it twice for a double jump.

Attack: the attack button, with whatever weapon the game gives you — a sword, a baseball bat, a gun. In some worlds you can choose your weapon in the Inventory.

Wall climbing: when a tall wall blocks the way, hold left or right against it and jump at the same time.

That is what most of them are. Order as usual and fill in the brief about the person you are giving it to. When the game is ready, we send the link to the email you ordered with — forward it, play it together, or tell us the recipient's email and we will send it to them directly.

Every order includes a printable certificate, ready the moment you check out. Put it in a card, wrap it, prop it against the cake. The game follows a few days later — and Rush delivery shortens the wait if the date is close.

• the game from scratch. : 24 hours or ordering 

After that, work has usually started, so a fee applies:

for the Partial customisation game ($99): 

•   12 to 24 hours after ordering: 30% of the order
• more than 24 hours after ordering: 50% of the order

For the game from scratch ($499)

•   24-48 hours after ordering: 30% of the order
• more than 48 hours after ordering: 50% of the order

Because every game is made for one person, we cannot refund a change of mind once production has started. If there is a technical problem on our side, we work with you to fix it, and refund you if it cannot be fixed. See the Terms of Service.
